People Need Art

When I started a small art popup during the middle of an international pandemic I am sure many thought I was crazy, but following health department protocol i asked some artists who never showed their art before and some experienced artists to come to a little neighborhood Italian Restaurant where the owner and i dreamed this up a couple of years ago. It was time to try it even in the face of fire.

I will never forget the first few visitors. You could literally see them blossom with happiness just seeing art and artists for maybe the first time in months and months because of quarantine measures. It really reinforced what I knew deeply inside, that people need ART.
